YOU ARE CONSIDERING HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING IN HAWAII
BUT WANT TO GET AND IDEA OF WHAT IT WOULD COST.

HERE YOU’LL FIND A GUIDE THAT WILL HELP YOU WITH THAT.

We will use “6-hour weddings” as a pricing reference since it’s the average booking.

DISCLAIMER: Prices shown are so you have a rough idea of what wedding costs in Hawaii (Especially on Maui) are. But they will differ depending on the quality of vendor’s work, the extra services they offer, and the VALUE they bring in.

*updated on January 2023.

Of course, you might find cheaper work, but read the fine print and check their past work.
You don’t want to risk it, you’ll only get married once!

VENUE

Ranges will be widely different depending on the venue you choose. The higher your guest count, and as you get more privacy (private venues vs. open front beaches) the more expensive it will be.
Plus, some (mostly resorts) will be able to include full service package (including planner, catering, officiant, entertainment, etc)

Venue’s starting price can range anywhere from: $5,000 to $15,000
*You can get from 10 to 25% discount if you decide to do a week-day wedding.

Some of the most booked venues as reference:

Olowalu Plantation House cost - Starting at $12,000

Four Season’s cost (depending on “full” package) - Starting at $14,500

*Planners starting price (planning + coordination): $2,500 (depending on actual amount of hours to coordinate)
*Usually they include some of the other services within their packages, so their prices might seem higher.

or:

*Includes; Planning/Coordinating, Officiant, Photo, Video, HMU, Leis & Bouquet, and Permits.

RENTALS

Tables, chairs, lounge sets, and all kind of decor will be needed (depending on the venue and the style you’re after).

VIDEOGRAPHERS

Not everybody will be able to come (or NOBODY, if it’s just the two of you).
